Grass Killouts
When weeds become thick enough to start overtaking your lawn, we can employ a strategy known as a “Killout” to get it back on track. An experienced technician will perform an evaluation to determine if this procedure is necessary, and it often is when all or part of a yard is being choked by unwanted plants, which make it impossible for new grass to grow. Killing off the problem vegetation allows them to be replanted and for the yard to start out fresh, as the grass won’t have to compete for the nutrients and oxygen in the soil. This results in a much more vibrant and lush lawn in the end. If weeds have only become an issue in certain portions of your yard, this procedure can also be utilized on a smaller scale to target problem spots while leaving healthy areas intact.
