Black Diamond goes above and beyond standard pest industry training. We work hard to ensure our field technicians are industry experts who consistently offer customers the absolute best service experience possible.
Technicians learn the ins and outs of the Pest Control industry at Black Diamond University.
This proprietary training program is comprised of functional classroom lectures combined with real world field training from our most experienced technicians. Information gained through this extensive training is then utilized to offer our customers reliable industry-leading results. But training doesn’t stop there.
Black Diamond’s proprietary educational Training material and field training guidelines now known as Black Diamond University.
We believe that education should be an ongoing part of any successful pest control company.
Black Diamond’s divisional Managers, Supervisors and our Director of Training offer individual mentoring and accountability to each of our field technicians on a quarterly basis through our Mentorship Program. Combined with our weekly divisional meetings and our on-line proprietary library and tactical testing, the Black Diamond advantage becomes clear.
At Black Diamond, we know that investing in our people is an investment in our future. Through BDU, our employees are provided with the most up-to-date study materials to become licensed in their respective states. State testing is conducted off-site, with initial testing costs covered by Black Diamond. As our employees advance further in their careers, they often want/require more licensing in order to gain a wider field of expertise. These further testing initiative are also paid for by Black Diamond. We not only do this for our employees, but also for our customers so they can rest assured that our technicians are appropriately trained and licensed in the area in which they operate.

Since each state mandates re-certification of our employees’ licenses on a regular basis, Black Diamond has taken the lead in requiring yearly Continued Education Units for our employees. State approval for these courses have been given by the states of Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. In fact, many other licensed service providers come from far and near to annual events hosted by Black Diamond in order to maintain their state mandated licensing credits.
