AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT?

That’s right everybody, hold on to your Christmas hams, bed bugs and roaches are home for the holidays! Whether you wear it, roll it, stroll it or place it on your head, pests can travel on just about anything. From hotels to bnb’s and even public transportation, pests can be found anywhere and everywhere this year. So, to help with safe travel, we’re offering up some trusted tips to stay pest free. Consider this our gift to you!

1. Staying in a hotel while visiting relatives? Make sure you inspect everything thoroughly, from the bed to the drapes, nothing is off limits!
   
2. Leave all your luggage on hard surfaces, like the bathroom countertop.
   Yes, it might look weird, but not as weird as a body full of bite marks.
   
3. Keep all those ugly sweaters in your suitcase, not in drawers!
   
4. On your return home, make sure your clothing is stored in plastic bags.
   
5. Take all that dirty festive wear and toss it in the washing machine.
   THEN shove it in the dryer on HIGH heat for at least twenty minutes.
   

Remember, bed bugs are tiny parasitic insects that are about the size of an apple seed and to top things off they can survive without food for over a year. SO, stay smart this holiday season and when in doubt, call 877-DEAD-BUG.
